Sale Primary School - known locally as "545" - was first established in 1853 but has occupied its current site adjoining historic Victoria Park near the city centre since 1883. The school has continued to grow in recent times drawing pupils from the city itself and from outlying areas including the RAAF Base at East Sale. The school currently has an enrolment of 460 children.
