Inline Hockey is one of the fastest growing sports all over the world, it is
great fun and a terrific way to combine recreation and fitness. The Sale Swans
Inline Hockey Club was established 8-9 years ago by determined youth and parents.
The club now has 3 competitions & 10 teams.
And all games are played on Monday nights with PeeWees starting at 5:30 then
intermediates at 6:00 and seniors playing at 7:00 and 8:00.
In addition to playing in Sale, Interclub competition is offered regularly
to those interested by way of tournaments in Melbourne and Moe. Rollerblades are
required (any quality) as are knee, shin & elbow guards. All other equipment
can be borrowed from the club. Girls welcome.

| The Lake Wellington Yacht Club is situated on the shore of Lake Wellington at Marlay Point via Clydebank about 20kms from Sale. The clubhouse, storage sheds, bunkhouse and toilet block are on the club's five hectares of land adjacent to a sealed car park with two boat ramps and a safe swimming beach. Between October and May various sailing activities such as, racing, training and cruising are conducted at Marlay Point on most Sundays. A major event for the club is the Marlay Point Over Night Race which as been held annually in March for the past 34 years. Yachts race from Marlay Point to Paynesville creating quite a spectacle. All types of sailing craft are welcome as the current fleet consists of trailer sailors (eg Hartley TS16s, RL24s) off the beach boats, (eg Sabres,Mirrors) and catamarans (eg Windrush, Miniquest). Visitors welcome to join in any club events. |

Sale Rifle Club Shoots are held every Saturday, a pennant match series runs throughout the year against other Gippsland clubs. Prize meetings, individual & Victorian competition are also held. Only Average eyesight required as an optic lense is permissible. Rifles are 762 or 308 calibre or 566 calibre, but any rifle may be used
