Sale Art Gallery hosts around 30 exhibitions each year, primarily focusing on temporary exhibitions. Guided tours and special events are available by appointment. The Gallery also has a shop and café. Special group bookings available for over 20 people.

The Sale Cinema has three viewing screens the largest of which holds 385 people.

The Lake Guthridge Walk & BBQ area is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy a picnic or BBQ lunch. The walking track around lakes Guthridge & Guyatt attract many early morning joggers always ready with a hello and a smile. The lake is home to swans and other birdlife. The Fauna Park & Botanic Gardens, home to a number of kangaroos & peacocks. Located right next to the Sale Botanic Gardens and Children's Adventure Playground, East of Lake Guthridge.

The Sale Wetlands provide an abundance of flora & fauna - the boardwalk and bird hide give you an opportunity to enjoy the various habitats and wildlife. There is also a walking track leading through woodlands and grasslands. More info in History Section.

Sale Historical Society operates Sale Museum. Open Sundays 1:20pm - 3:30pm and Sale Powder Magazine, open via request to Sale tourist centre.
